"There's no place like home."
This iconic line from the 1939, 'The Wizard of Oz' movie, are words I hold dear.
I am a homebody. I do love a little adventure and need time in nature to energise me, but I always look forward to getting back to my home, which is my sanctuary.
Since 2023, I have had the great privilege of delivering training for Shelter, the housing and homelessness charity who says, "Home is everything, it's our foundation and it's where we thrive", and I could not put it better myself.
"Inspired Living", as I call it, is a philosophy for how you live in your home, home can either be the place where you stow your body when you're not at work, or it can be a reflection of your passions, a space to indulge and express your creativity and a place of joy. But, home must never be taken for granted. Everyone deserves a safe and clean home, a base they can thrive from.
