Why Art Matters at Home
The things we choose to place on our walls and around our home quietly shape the feeling of a space. Art has a way of holding meaning, telling stories, and creating moments of pause in the rhythm of everyday life. It can lift a room, soften it, or simply help it feel more like you.
To live with art is to surround yourself with something intentional, something that carries care and presence. It’s a gentle way of shaping a home, one piece at a time.
About My Screen Prints
I’ve always been creative; it’s often been joked that I was born with a paintbrush in my hand. Making has always been part of my life, but after a big health scare in 2025, I made a quiet commitment to give more space to it.
Not long after, a chance encounter with a friend in a historic watermill led me back to a past passion, screen printing. In operation since 1760, and now a thriving hub for creatives, The Printroom at Walford Mill is where I spend joyful hours creating these works.
Making played a part in nurturing me back to health, and it means a great deal to me when someone chooses to live with my art in their home.
Each piece is made by hand using a traditional screen printing process. Layers of ink are pulled through a screen one at a time, building the image slowly and deliberately. It’s a tactile, physical way of making, where time, rhythm, and care become part of the final work.
Every print carries something of that process, the human touch, the small variations, the sense that it has been truly made, not manufactured. Made with attention, and made with love.
Editions and Artist’s Proofs
Each design is released as a limited edition, a series of prints that are consistent in form and individually numbered and signed as part of a larger whole.
Alongside these, I create a small collection of artist’s proofs. These are also numbered and signed, but set aside as their own quieter group, pieces that feel a little closer to the making process and are released in smaller, more intimate batches.
