To Use:-

First...

Light the tip of the dipped end and let it burn for ten seconds or so.

Next...

Blow out the flame and make sure the tip is glowing and smoke is swirling from it. 

Then...

Place the stick in one of my gorgeous ceramic incense plates to ensure the debris is captured as the incense burns.
