Decorative Moss 100g

One of my favourite ways to get some added greenery into the home is reindeer moss. Also known as Icelandic moss, reindeer moss is a sustainable lichen preserved for decoration, primarily sourced from Norway and Finland. 

It is preserved using glycerin and non-toxic, bio-based dyes, ensuring colourful greenery that remains soft, pliable and vibrant for 7-10 years without the need for light or water. 

Available here in forest green or lime green, it makes a great table decoration or vase filler.

Please Note

This natural product does contain moisture and as a result, has an earthy woodland odour (that I personally love), which is more prevalent in warmer temperatures. To minimise this, it's best to open the bags and store them in a cool, dry place before using, to air them out and dry them out. I keep it aired out, only packing it up just before I send it off to you. 

There is natural tonal variation in the colour. 

Do not display in water as the dye will run and the moss will rot. 

Staining may occur if placed on Great Aunt Sylvia's antique white lace tablecloth. 

Keep away from open flames.
